Too high duty cycle?

Post by Fairlane »

Hi!

I found after datalogging that my max duty cycle was 123 and the max pw was 32. The AFR was fine. Do I need bigger injectors or how I should read those numbers?

Realistically, anything over 90-95% means the injectors are held fully open. If this is only happening on acceleration enrichment, it's probably not a big deal; if it's happening at steady full throttle, your injectors are kind of marginal for this engine and may need an upgrade.

Ok! I probably need replace my current 36 injectors with 42, because this happened at full throttle, when I was tuning my VE table without AE on. I just afraid, whats is going to happen to my idle with bigger injectors, because my pulse width is now only 1,8ms.

It should still idle just fine. I've run larger injectors on motors with smaller cylinders.
