As Matt says a Darlington pair (effectively two transistors in one case.) They are cheap as chips on Ebay. Cheaper than an IGBT.hardline wrote:http://www.DIYAutoTune.com/catalog/pcbv ... p-134.html
Was it correctly mounted on a heat-sink? Without one it could overheat and fail. If you're not using the ignition driver (Q16) remove it and mount the TIP 120 there. Otherwise fix it to the case. For either, using a mounting kit which insulates it.
