Instaling timing table and now nothing

Post by limo »

I got my car running and driving around the hood I got the ve tables set close so took the car to the dirt in my trailer to do a long datalog. I unloaded the car and let it warm up, once over 160 I hooked up my laptop pulled up the file and watched the car run in megatune. I tured the car off and back on but did not start it. I made some changes to my timing table and started to burn it to my ECM and the conection bliped a couple of times and then nothing. Now the car won't run and there is no conection to my computer. I have checked 12v with 5amp fuse, all grounds and my tuning cable on a touch screen that usses the same cable. There is a VERY slim chance that the bootload wire could have been grounded. I have a Microsquirt and am open to any ideas anyone has. The board dose not smell or look burnt.

Thanks in advance, I know this is something stupid but I am a little slow with the programing thing.

Seems like some glitch wiped out the firmware. Try reloading the firmware and loading an MSQ from before the problem happened.

Is this the firmwhare and instal procedure you are talking about? There seems to be a cross over between firmware and embedded code. Are these the same thing? Sorry I must be a total noob.
