pintle vs disc design
I'm shopping for replacement injectors for MS'd chevrolet TPI 350, Gen I. I've read delphi's glowing claims for their disc design in multec injectors, and of course Bosch's pintle design is widespread.
Does anyone have experience with either to be able to say if there is any practical advantage in either design?
My car is a daily driver I plan to keep, and I'm looking for reliability and precision, and resistance to bleed down, as opposed to raw horsepower and flow.
My induction is early TPI (~1988 - originally had 9th cold start injector). If any chevrolet enthusiasts have had success with replacement injectors for this ilk of induction, I'd love to know.
