The output comes out on the FIDLE pin. Fords do not use a stepper IAC.

The way I understand this now, one lead goes from the FIDLE pin on the relay board, and the other lead must then have to go to +12V, right? And then a 1N4001 Diode is installed between those leads, with the band facing the 12V+?
Is that correct?
Also, what is the resistor I see on the FIDLE terminal in the above picture? (I'm hoping it's for a different kind of valve!)

That resistor is for an older mod that used FIDLE for spark control and is not used with actual fast idle valves. We "recycled" the jumper picture as the jumper itself doesn't change.
