Innovate LC-1 serial cable pinout?

Post by MaHa »

Hi,

I bought second hand Innovate LC-1. Serial cable was missing from package. Can somebody tell how signals are connected between D9 and 2.5mm plug?

I found answer from Innovate forum:

'Using TRS (Tip Ring Sleeve) terminology:
the sleeve is the ground reference (DB-9 pin 5, and the connector shell);
the ring the serial OUT signal (DB-9 pin 2;
and the tip the serial IN signal (DB-9 pin 3);

I tested the factory cable and found no jumped pins on the DB-9 end (sometimes RTS/CTS and/or DSR/DTR are jumpered).'
