hei 8-pin . no spark good rpm

hei 8-pin . no spark good rpm

i have a mgII 3.57 . i cannt get any spark. i get good rpm on megatune. i fallowed the instructions on how to jump for hei. still nothing. module is good because the car runs with the factory computer.

i can get rpm but no spark. can any one tell me if the jumper wires are right

i getting close. i get spark. but only when i disconnect pin b from relay board.

Your ECU appears to be set up for direct coil control rather than 5 volt logic level output - that's not going to trigger the HEI. You would need a signal from JS10 straight to an output pin and on to the HEI module.

thank where do i have to put the js10 5v. Does anyone have pictures of modified 3.57 boards. There isnt that much info on the 3.57 boards. Its all v3 or v2.2

Take out Q16 and connect JS10 to the center hole of Q16.

i think i got it. i jumped js10 to inbtin with a 330 ohm resistor.
i use a old 4-pin hei module to control timing. My mg v3.57 came with dual BIP373 one installed in q16.. i removed one and use the other one to control the coil on top of the hei. what i did was got the (c) wire from the mode to tach and ran the S5(relay) -pin 36 to the negative side of the coil to make it spark. also put a 1k resistor on 12v and the tach signal that goes to pin 36.
