TPS sensor issue

I have wired up my TPS sensor, but without moving the throttle the laptop is indicating 100% throttle position. What could be wrong here ?

Getting started with MS2, Tunerstudio and ITB's

In a week or 2 I'm going to convert my carbed engine to fuel injected ITB's (chevy v8).

I've been reading up and there seem to be a lot of issues to getting this done.

What do I run ? Alpha N, MAP, blended ...

Is there any possiblity having this done by the autotune feature.

Re: Tunerstudio goes offline

Well so much for that idea. I didn't work. Shielding off the ignition didn't help either.

Re: Tunerstudio goes offline

No, this is a generic usb to com adapter. It's not shielded. Can I just wrap alu foil around it to shield it ?

Tunerstudio goes offline

I'm new to this so bear with me.

I have a MSII V3.57 with tunerstudio. Currently setting up the system and seeing if it will work. Carb is still on the engine, so i'm looking at the O2 sensor, coolant sensor and map. I can get those readings and it works as long as she idles. As soon as I rev the ...

Controlled independently or controlled by MS?
By MS. That way my ignition table would be close to what I would finally need when putting on my EFI intake and the rest.

IAC valve connecting

I have an ITB manifold for a Chevy V8, that has a vacuumchamber below the crossram runners. Normally only the MAP sensor is hooked up to this chamber.

I would like to use an IAC control valve to regulate idle + fast idle. Could I hook this up to the chamber as well ? Would this cause any problems ...

Re: installing FI dizzy

Matt,

I'm a bit confused by the wiring schedule you have there. The dizzy from MSD is the same, but I have a coil with only a + and a - to connect. How do I connect it ? BTW I have an electronic tach that was fed of the original coil in cap HEI.

The coil in that diagram actually just has + and ...

installing FI dizzy

I'm new to dealing with this EFI setup, so bear with me.

Currently I'm converting an carbed engine (chevy V8) over to FI and electronic ignition. I have to install the electronic dizzy right now.

Do you have to set these at a fixed advance of 8-10° like a conventional dizzy or are these installed ...

You, of course, would be able to log those sensors also.
I have read posts from a number of users that have done exactly that.

New engine on MS

Would like an opinion for the following : was planning on putting my engine on ITB's with Megasquirt. This is a brand new engine and has to be started in the next couple of days. Since the tuning of ITB's is not simple, I was thinking of starting her up and breaking her in on a carb and manifold ...

position of injectors

Hello,

I have a crossram ITB manifold for a chevy V8 small block. The injectors now are close to the heads, but they are at a 90° angle into the air stream. Will this cause any problems ?

Thanks

Jeep air valve

I have and adaptor from DIYAutoTune and bought a Jeep air valve for IAC. Apparently the pintle of the valve doesn't reach the seat. Is this a normal condition and does it 'set ' itself when activated ?

Dual fuel injectors per throttle bore

I have ordered my efi-electronical system this weekend, so now i'm tackling the putting together part of it.

Since I will be running ITB's and since i don't really trust the original position of the injector after the throttle blade (t.i. 90° into the airstream) I would want to fit a second ...
